stament of intent

 

With my poster’s I will adhere to the standards as accepted by the ASA It will not contravene any standards such as causing distress , my posters will be on a documentary series based on education called educating East Norfolk which will feature several students who come from different backgrounds. The idea comes from the popularity of television programs such as educating Yorkshire. The idea also stems from personal interest. My intention is to create posters that will draw my target audience which would be people interested in the education system which is typically a unisex demographic but would be placed into an early to late 20s demographic as a primary audience a secondary audience would be parents which shifts the demographic to middle aged. The idea for the posters would be that the font used would be something eye catching and follow the colour scheme of BBC three which is green at the moment. My idea furthered when I realised that there was no college education television programme so it would be a novel programme. I have a firm belief that my primary audience would watch the program as a way to understand the teaching profession which is why I also believe that parents would watch it. The idea however would be that it focuses on students which is another reason as to why it would attract parents to watch the program. The masthead being the channel and the date it is on will show the audience and ingrain the idea that it will be what they want to watch. The font being a fairly bright shade of green and a dark blue for one of the posters works in its favour of being eye catching. I believe that the posters will show the ideas of the education system
